USAID Advancing Nutrition has New Partnerships Initiative (NPI) funding available from USAID’s Global Health Bureau to award grants to local entities and locally established partners that are working to improve nutrition in Kenya. NPI aims to increase USAID’s impact by elevating local leadership, fostering creativity and innovation, and mobilizing resources across the Agency’s programs. These efforts help governments, civil society, and the private sector make progress on countries’ Journey to Self-Reliance, achieve durable results, and create more effective partnerships.

Grants will help organizations improve health and nutrition among women and children in Kenya, with a focus on the 1,000-day window from pregnancy to a child’s second birthday. Grant recipients will also work with USAID Advancing Nutrition to identify their technical and organizational strengths and priorities for growth, and develop strategies to strengthen their capacity to become more effective partners to USAID.
