The United States Agency for International Development (USAID) Advancing Nutrition project is the Agency’s flagship nutrition project, led by JSI Research & Training Institute, Inc. (JSI), and a diverse group of experienced partners. Launched in September 2018, USAID Advancing Nutrition implements and provides technical support to nutrition interventions across sectors and disciplines for USAID and its partners. The project’s multi-sectoral approach draws together global nutrition experience to design, implement, and evaluate programs that address the root causes of malnutrition.

Marily Knieriemen

Marily Knieriemen has an undergraduate degree in French and a master’s degree in international development administration. She taught English as a Foreign Language as a Peace Corps Volunteer in Cameroon and as a Second Language to refugees in Minnesota before starting her career in international development. She has worked with several international NGOs (Helen Keller International, CARE, Lutheran World Relief, Mercy Corps, and SNV) and the U.S. Peace Corps. Her experience includes work in nine countries of Africa, with much of that time in the Sahel-including 16 years in Niger.

JSI is seeking a Program Coordinator (PC) to support the USAID-funded Child Health Task Force Secretariat. The Task Force is a global network of over 3,000 individuals from 300 organizations and 80 countries who are committed to strengthening comprehensive child health programs through advocacy, coordination, learning, knowledge management and partnership with countries. The Task Force convenes and coordinates stakeholders to share knowledge and innovative solutions to programmatic issues.
