Overview

A screening tool increasingly used in clinical practice to assess intimate partner violence (IPV).

Scoring and Interpretation

Scored on a scale of 1 (never) to 5 (frequently), and the total summed. A total score of > 10 is suggestive of IPV. It assesses both psychological IPV and physical aggression.
