This resource identifies 47 key competencies that are important for community health workers (CHWs) to demonstrate in order to carry out high-quality social and behavior change (SBC) interventions to improve nutrition. It provides nutrition project managers, Ministries of Health, and others working to strengthen CHW performance a menu of critical SBC competencies with which they can assess, strengthen, and evaluate their skills.
