Baby Friendly Spaces is a holistic psychosocial program that aims to provide comprehensive support to children and their caregivers in emergency situations. Its has several objectives to support feeding for children with disabilities and feeding difficulties, which includes preventing the increase of malnutrition, morbidity, and mortality rates; helping the family adapt care practices to the emergency and post-emergency context; helping families facilitate child development and survival; and providing appropriate and sustainable solutions for infants for whom breastfeeding is not an option.
