In 2016, Save the Children U.S. launched a 3-year regional project, "Community-Based Services for Children with Disabilities," aimed at establishing a comprehensive and high-quality model for community-based services for children with disabilities that would support family strengthening and inclusive education. This generic model is based on the best practices applied in 11 of the community-based centers.
