RFP No. USAID-AN-054 Dietary Diversity Study in Cambodia

USAID Advancing Nutrition under JSI Research & Training Institute, Inc. (JSI) is soliciting proposals for implementation of a study comparing minimum dietary diversity indicators from different assessment methods in children 6-23 months of age in Cambodia. The objective of this RFP is to complete data collection in four (4) provinces (Target area provinces: Battambang, Kampong Thom, Pursat, and Siem Reap) in Cambodia and to contribute to documentation and analyses that compare estimations of the MDD indicator in children 6 to 23 months of age from a list-based method (using a sentinel food list) and a hybrid method (as used in Feed the Future ZOI Survey and UNICEF MICS data collection) against a non-quantitative observation of dietary intake. USAID Advancing Nutrition is seeking services of an in-country research partner in Cambodia with experience in dietary recall studies to undertake this work. The Offeror will be expected to plan and complete all data collection through a random selection of 636 households that have one or more infants 6-23 months of age across the 4-province study target area in Cambodia.
