USAID Advancing Nutrition worked in Nigeria from September 2021 to November 2023 with the goal to improve nutrition through technical support, nutrition interventions, and evidence-based nutrition programming. This short clip provides an overview of the work the project did to conduct a capacity assessment of the State Committees on Food and Nutrition (SCFN) to identify areas that hinder their multi-sectoral nutrition programming. It also discusses how the project coordinated an African Nutrition Leadership program to strengthen the skills of the SCFN members to improve nutrition indicators in the country.
