Vida Saludable, an initiative led by the Government of Mexico, aimed to reduce the incidence of obesity in adolescents and school-going children in the country. As part of this initiative, the government introduced a new subject to the curriculum called Healthy Living, offered training to teachers, and implemented the program in an innovative way using national televsion, radio, or the internet to disseminate interactive games and deliver food diaries.
